Fundraising Dinner

An evening celebrating the Canadian angling community in support of protecting and growing fishing in Canada.

The inaugural Keep Canada Fishing Dinner and Auction, took place Thursday, March 19, 2026 at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, raising an impressive $70,000 to support programs that promote and protect recreational fishing across Canada.

The Honorable Mike Harris, Minister of Natural Resources in Ontario, presented the first-ever Keep Canada Fishing Award to Sgt. Mike Driscoll of the Gananoque Police Service for his work in organizing a very successful grassroots Kids and Cops fishing event in his home region.

The event was presented by Outfitter Financial, Canada’s first and only financial planning firm that caters to anglers and hunters, helping clients take the fear out of finance so they can spend more time enjoying the great outdoors.
