When children pick up a fishing rod they connect with a sense of awe and discover new things about nature and wildlife. They learn about patience, teamwork, and build confidence in themselves.

In addition to support from Canadian Tire, the Kids and Cops program relies on donations from community groups and generous Canadians.

For a small donation, you can help us purchase rods and reels, tackle, and derby prizes for children who might not otherwise get to experience the joy of fishing.
