The Keep Canada Fishing team caught up with boating enthusiasts at the Toronto Boat Show, which runs from January 8 to 17.

We got tons of great boating information at the Discover Boating New Boater Welcome Centre. They had great tips for new boaters to help you find the right boat for you.

Boating and fishing are a natural fit. Having a boat opens you up to a ton of new fishing opportunities, because you can reach fishing spots you’d never get to from shore. Plus, boating allows you to spend quality time outdoors with your friends and family, just like fishing.

The Toronto Boat Show offered more than just boats, with some fun activities for anglers young and old. The FishTV Kids Trout Pond gave kids the chance to fish for troutr and win a prize, plus there were tons of great fishing seminars at the Great Canadian Fish Tank sponsored by the CSFL.
