Two Canadians cleaned up this weekend at the FLW Tour at the Harris Chain of Lakes, presented by Lowrance. Our friend Chris Johnston came in 1st, taking home a cheque for $125,000. 2nd place went to Jeff Gustafson from Keewatin, Ontario.
What Chris Johnston had to say:
“You couldn’t ask for anything better – two Canadians up here (on the weigh-in stage),” said Johnston. “We’re buddies. We’re going to go home happy and back to some snow and ice. It’s a vacation down here, coming to Florida, and for us to finish one and two, what more could you ask for?”
Chris may be an elite angler now, but he still knows how to get new and novice anglers hooked on the sport, as you can see in this video from 2014 where he explains how easy it is to cast a line.
Thanks for being an inspiration, Chris! We can’t wait to see where your career takes you next!
